Booking terms
The short version: paying holds your slot, we would always rather move a booking than lose it, and the time you booked is the time you get.
Who you are booking with
These terms apply to every booking made with MERGE Photography Studio, commercial registration 245410, at Jaidah Capital Building, 1st floor, office 1005, Lusail, Doha, Qatar. Contact us at hello@mergestudio.qa or +974 3077 0202.
By booking a session you are agreeing to what is set out here.
Booking and payment
A slot is held for you when your booking is completed and the full price has been paid. Until payment is received the time is not reserved and may be taken by someone else.
Prices are shown in QAR and are the prices in force at the time you book.
The diary opens 14 days ahead, and a booking must be made at least 5 hours before the session starts.
Changing a booking
If you need a different date or time, tell us at least 24 hours before your session and we will move it, subject to the studio being free. We would always rather move a booking than lose it.
Changes requested later than that, and sessions missed without notice, cannot be moved and are charged in full.
Cancellations and refunds
Payments are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, contact us and we will do our best to reschedule you rather than leave you with nothing.
If the studio has to cancel — an equipment failure, a problem with the building, anything at our end — you may choose between a new date and a full refund of what you have paid.
Your session
Please arrive on time. The session runs for the length you booked, from the time you booked, and a late arrival shortens it rather than extending the booking.
If you need longer on the day we will extend where the diary allows and charge the additional time at the published rate.
The studio must be left as it was found. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your party to the space or to the equipment.
What we provide
Each hall is hired with the lighting listed on our price list. Anything else is hired separately and confirmed with your booking.
We do not provide styling, models, catering or props unless it is written into what you booked.
Photographs and your work
Whatever you create in our studio is yours. We claim no rights over it.
We may photograph or film the space for our own portfolio. Where you or your work would be identifiable, we ask first.
Liability
Personal belongings are your responsibility. We are not liable for loss or damage to items left at the studio.
Our liability in connection with a booking is limited to what you paid for it.
